چکیده
The existence of the Javan hawk-eagle depends on condition forest in its habitat. If lowland is damaged, will be pushed to higher forest; This can affect behavior because it related availability game each habitat type. study aims analyze conditions and Mount Ciremai National Park, using checkered line method focal animal sampling. Analysis used a vegetation analysis approach level use types. results showed that most often natural types (85.38%) at Cipari site plantation forests (83.14%) Bantar agung site. dominant tree species are benda (Castanopsis argentea; 20.02%) saninten (Artocarpus elasticus; 13.30%). hawk-eagles choose trees nest kedondong (Spondias pinnata) pine (Pinus merkusii ) valleys between hills close water sources or rivers. Overall found resting/perching, hunting, flying, interacting. common was resting/perching (80.16%) interaction (45.88%).

The Javan hawk-eagle: misconceptions about rareness and threat
The Javan hawk-eagle (Spizaetus bartelsi) is a threatened raptor endemic to the densely populated island of Java. Historically very little is known about its biology. Recent surveys showed that the population size has been underestimated in the past. The breeding population is estimated to be 137±188 pairs with a total of 600±900 birds and con®rmed presence in 22 discrete forest blocks througho...

The objectives of this study are to determine the visitors’ willingness to pay for conservation of the resources at Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGP), and to determine the satisfaction of visitors towards the use of the ecotourism resources of the park. The dichotomous choice Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) was employed to determine the willingness to pay (WTP). A total of 423 respon...
متن کاملKaryotype reorganization with conserved genomic compartmentalization in dot-shaped microchromosomes in the Japanese mountain hawk-eagle (Nisaetus nipalensis orientalis, Accipitridae).
The karyotype of the Japanese mountain hawk-eagle (Nisaetus nipalensis orientalis) (2n = 66) consists of a large number of medium-sized and small chromosomes but only 4 pairs of dot-shaped microchromosomes, in contrast to the typical avian karyotype with a small number of macrochromosomes and many indistinguishable microchromosomes. To investigate the drastic karyotype reorganization in this sp...

A new species of Leptolalax (Anura: Megophryidae) from Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, East Malaysia (Borneo).
We describe a new species of Leptolalax from Gunung Mulu National Park in eastern Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo. The new species had been assigned to Leptolalax dringi and Leptolalax gracilis in the past. It is shown to differ from both these species and from all other species of the genus by a unique combination of morphological characters including large body size, rounded snout, interorbital dis...
